The Election Commission (EC) has received 48 complaints since yesterday (Oct 8) regarding election law violations, an EC official said.
Among the complaints, were 47 incidents of law violations and one incident of violence.
The EC has set-up an 'Election Complaint Management Unit' to accept complaints during the run-up to the presidential election.
