58th Bandaranaike commemoration held at Horagolla

The 58th commemoration of late Prime Minister S.W.R.D. Bandaranaike was held today near the S.W.R.D. Bandaranaike statue in Horagolla under the patronage of President Maithripala Sirisena.

Former President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunge and her family members, Ministers and MPs and heads of Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) also participated

S.W.R.D. Bandaranaike, was the fourth Prime Minister of Sri Lanka and founder of Sri Lanka Freedom Party, serving as Prime Minister from 1956.
