A special dengue control program has been launched in preparation for the upcoming 2023 G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) Examination in January 2024.
Health Entomologists’ Association’s President Nijith Sumanasena said that the dengue control program will be conducted at all examination centers nationwide until December 31.
The examination is scheduled to take place from January 4 to 31.
Mr. Sumanasena further added that the decreasing wet weather conditions are fostering an environment conducive to dengue mosquito breeding.
Meanwhile, tuition classes conducted for students sitting for 2023 A/L Examination will be suspended from midnight on Friday (29), until its conclusion.
Tuition classes, workshops, seminars, and other associated activities linked to the examination will be prohibited.
