Showers or thundershowers are predicted for multiple areas in Western and Sabaragamuwa Provinces as well as in Galle and Matara Districts after 2:00 p.m. today (14), the Department of Meteorology said.
A few showers are due in Eastern and Uva Provinces and in Polonnaruwa, Matale and Nuwara-Eliya Districts.
Showers will scatter across the Hambantota and Anuradhapura Districts.
Fairly high winds of 30-40 KMPH are foreseen in Northern, North-central, North-western, Eastern, Uva and Southern Provinces as well as on Eastern slopes of central hills.
Parts of Western and Sabaragamuwa Provinces as well as Galle and Matara Districts will have misty mornings.
