Minister of Agriculture Mahinda Amaraweera, said that there is no need to import rice as the existing stocks of rice are sufficient until the harvest of the upcoming Maha season.
He made this remark addressing a forum at the Presidential Secretariat under the theme "Modernization of the Agricultural Sector and its Challenges.
