A consignment of 500,000 doses of Oxford-AstraZeneca-Covishield vaccine from India reached the country today.
The Epidemiology Unit of the Health Ministry said out of the 500,000 vaccine doses received in January close to 400,000 have been administered to front line health workers, military personnel, high risk groups especially in Western province.

A Sri Lankan man was apprehended at Suvarnabhumi airport for attempting to smuggle wildlife out of the country after three ball pythons were found hidden in his underwear, the Bangkok post reported.
