President Anura Kumara Dissanayake is officially scheduled to meet German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier this afternoon, June 11, 2025.
President Dissanayake arrived at Brandenburg International Airport in Berlin, Germany, today after departing the island for an official visit to the Federal Republic of Germany, following an invitation from President Steinmeier. He was officially welcomed upon arrival, and the formal meeting between the two leaders is scheduled to take place this afternoon.
Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment, and Tourism Vijitha Herath, along with a delegation of senior government officials, is accompanying the President on this visit.
