Applications have been called for the appointment of members of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABoC) by the Constitutional Council. according to a notice issued by the Parliament.
Under the provisions of the Article 41B of the Constitution of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri
Lanka and provisions of the Anti-Corruption Act No. 9 of 2023, the Constitutional Council calls for
applications from suitable individuals to be considered and to recommend for the appointment to
the three posts of the member of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or
Corruption.
The applicants should have expertise, reached eminence, and have at least twenty (20) years of
experience in one or more of the following fields: —
i. law;
ii. investigation of crime and law enforcement;
iii. forensic auditing;
iv. forensic accounting;
v. engineering;
vi. international relations and diplomatic services;
vii. management of public affairs; or
viii. public administration
The duly filled applications can be sent by registered post, or by e-mail to constitutionalcouncil@parliament.lk on or before 6 th November 6.
