Army Commander General Shavendra Silva today (30) appealed to the public to act cautiously after the reopening of the country from tomorrow after a 41-day lockdown.
The Army commander speaking after an event in Kalutara said that it would be up to the public to ensure that the COVID-19 situation is not aggravated after the reopening.
He thanked the people for remaining indoors for the past few weeks.
He said though the country was opening up inter provincial travel will still remain restricted.
