Finance Minister Basil Rajapaksa will visit India during the second half of this month, the Indian High Commission stated.
The decision was reached during a phone conversation held this morning between Mr Rajapaksa and India's External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, the High Commission said on Twitter.
During the "productive and cordial" phone conversation, the External Affairs Minister assured Minister Rajapaksa that India would continue to support Sri Lanka in all possible ways. They agreed to finalize a mutually convenient date in the second half of this month for the Finance Minister's visit, the High Commission stressed.
