A 49 year old man was arrested over the robbery of bicycles in Mt. Lavinia and surrounding areas, Police said.
The suspect, a resident of Ratmalana was arrested in Walawwatta by officers of the Peliyagoda Crimes Division and handed over to My. Lavinia police.
Police said nine stolen bicycles were found and Mt.Lavinia police has commenced an investigation into missing bicycles. The suspect is to be produced before Mt.Lavinia Magistrate Courts today.
