The body of a youth who went missing at the mini world’s-end at Pitamaruwa in Madulsima has been found by the Special Forces of the army, Police said.
Dinura Wijesundara who works as a graphic artist of Sirasa TV had gone missing in the early hours of Sunday (7) after travelling to the location with a group of doctors.
The body was located in the early hours today (9) morning about 600 ft off the precipice. He had fallen onto a rock.
Dinura was a resident of Kalutara.
According to his colleagues they had camped in the site and due to heavy rains they had got back to the respective vehicles in the early hours of Sunday. They had assumed that he was in one of the vehicles, but later realised that he was missing.
Madulsima is a village situated in the Uva province.
