President of the All Ceylon Bakery Owner’s Association, N.K Jayawardena told the Sunday Times that prices of bread and bakery products would be increased from Monday, August 23.
He elaborated that the price of a loaf of bread would be increased by Rs 5 while the price of bakery products would be increased by Rs 10. He added that a kilo of cake was also increased by Rs 100.
