The bus driver involved in the accident in Radella where seven persons were killed on Friday has been remanded until February 1, Police said.
Meanwhile the funerals of five persons killed in the accident were held in the early hours of today. The funeral of the van and three drivers are due to be conducted later.
Meanwhile the majority of the 41 students who were injured in the accident have been discharged from hospital.
The bus carrying students from Thurstan College Colombo were returning to Colombo from Nuwara Eliya when it collided with a van and three-wheeler .
