The CCTV surveillance in Colombo has successfully identified 675 vehicles involved in traffic offenses, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police Indika Hapugoda said.
Starting February 1, these offenders will face fines, signaling a move in the direction of more technologically enhanced policing.
