A total of 124 persons have died from COVID-19 in the last 24 hours with the majority (95) being over 60 years of age, the Health Ministry said.
Today’s (11) daily death toll, the highest reported to-date, increases the country’s total number of deaths from the virus to 5464.
Meanwhile, another 2890 persons were tested positive for COVID today (11).
