A committee representing experts in the field of media, marketing, education, law, administration and economy is to be appointed to obtain recommendations for a policy for journalists here.
The Cabinet has approved a proposal by the Minister of Mass Media to appoint the committee as well as amend existing laws applicable for journalists and media institutions in order to prepare policies and ethics.
Among the areas that will be looked into is the use of social media, socialisation of knowledge, understanding and communication strategies, use of digital technology and global trends in the fields of mass media and communication.
