The court case filed against former President Ranil Wickremesinghe over alleged misuse of Rs.16.6 million in state funds is to be taken up before Fort Magistrate Court this afternoon.
The former president who is on bail and is facing charges under the public property act .
The case will be heard before Fort Magistrate Isuru Neththikumara.
A short while later, the official car of the Commander of the Navy, bearing plate NAHA 5006, departed from Navy House, Longdon Place, Colombo 7.
