The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce has praised Sri Lanka’s new administration for swiftly resolving the Visa on Arrival issue by reinstating the Electronic Travel Authorisation system.
The tourism industry has been gravely concerned about this matter impacting the positive growth momentum of the sector, the chamber said in a statement.
Resolving the visa matter was one of the top 10 priorities the chamber urged the President to address within his first six months in office. The Ceylon Chamber said it will continue to support the Government in the implementation of other priority areas outlined in Vision 2030.
