China has reiterated its continuous support for Sri Lanka’s finance and development, the Chinese Embassy said today.
On the sidelines of the World Bank and IMF spring meetings, Vice Minister of Finance Wang Dongwei met with Financial State Minister Shehan Samasinghe, and reiterated China's continuous support for Sri Lanka's finance & development, the Chinese Embassy said in a twitter message.
Earlier Mr Semasinghe in a tweet said “Had a fruitful discussion with Wang Dongwei, Vice Minister of Finance of China on matters of mutual interest. Vice Minister assured China’s continuous support for Sri Lanka’s ongoing efforts to address debt vulnerabilities and boost the Sri Lankan economy.
