The Chinese Government has granted Rs 7,680 million to renovate the Supreme Courts complex, the Justice Ministry said today.
The agreement was signed between the Justice Ministry Secretary Priyantha Mayadunne and the Advisor on Economic and Commercial Affairs at the Chinese embassy, Li Guangjun today.
The renovations will take place stage by stage in contrast to the earlier request where the Chinese embassy requested that the entire building be vacated.
