China sends another 1000 MT of rice
Another 1000 metric tons of Chinese rice arrived in Colombo, the Chinese Embassy in Colombo said.
The rice will be used to support the Education Ministry’s School Meal Programme. China has donated close to 4000 MT of rice to feed about 1.1 million school children in 7,900 schools islandwide.
