State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi will undertake an official visit to Sri Lanka from January 8 to 9, 2022 and launch the celebration of the 65th Anniversary of China-Sri Lanka diplomatic relations, the Chinese embassy in Colombo said. Colombo will be the last stop of his first foreign visit in the new year.

Sri Lanka Freedom Party Maithripala Sirisena. Amb. Qi Zhenhong conveyed the message to Maithripala Sirisena and had a good discussion on bilateral relations and international and regional issues of common interest.
