Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, Southern and North-western provinces will experience fairly heavy rainfall or thundershowers today (3), the Meteorology Department said.
The department said cloudy skies will prevail in most parts of the country throughout the day, with Northern, North-Central, Eastern and Uva provinces to experience showers as well.
Public is requested to take adequate precautions to minimise damages caused by strong winds during rainfall.
