The Colombo district court issued two enjoining orders against Government Nursing OfficersAssociation and its President Saman Ratnapriya ordering to suspend their trade union action until February 24.
The Attorney General (AG) department moved the court seeking the order saying that the ongoing strike by health trade unions crippled the healthcare system across the country. Senior State Counsel Vikum De Abrew made submissions on behalf of the AG department.
