The Committee Stage debate of Budget 2025 will commence from today (27). The debate will continue for 19 days including on Saturdays from 10.30am to 6.00pm each day.
A vote on the Third Reading of Budget 2025 is scheduled for 6.00pm on March 21.
Among the Special Spending Units that will be debated today are those of the President, Prime Minister, Judges of the Superior Courts, Office of the Cabinet of Ministers, Independent Commissions and Parliament.
The Second Reading of Budget 2025 was passed in Parliament on Tuesday (25) by a majority of 109 votes, with 155 MPs voting in favour and 46 against.
