The curfew which was imposed on the entire country from 7.00 pm yesterday (9) has been extended to 7.00 am on Wednesday (11), the President's Media Division (PMD) said.
The curfew has been imposed in accordance with the provisions of Section 16 of the Public Security Ordinance and was earlier supposed to be lifted at 7.00am today.
Under the curfew, no person is allowed to be on any public road, railway, public park, public recreation ground or other public ground or the seashore except under the authority of a written permit granted by an authorised officer.
