The head office of the Department of Registration of Persons as well as its provincial offices in the districts of Galle, Kurunegala, Vavuniya and Batticaloa will be open tomorrow (26) for the sole purpose of issuing National Identity Cards of candidates sitting for the GCE Ordinary Level examination due to commence on March 1.
The Department's Commissioner General P.V. Gunathilake stated that the offices will remain open from 8.30am to 1.00pm.
Candidates who are sitting for the examination must bring their completed applications certified by either their school principal or the local Grama Niladhari.
