The Central Bank of Sri Lanka Bill that was supposed to be debated on Thursday (11) has been postponed.
Accordingly, the Committee on Parliamentary Business which met this morning decided to extend the one-day adjournment debate on the X-Press Pearl disaster to two days. The debate will now take place from 9.30am to 6.00pm on both Wednesday (10) and Thursday (11).
Meanwhile, the Committee has also decided to hold the Welfare Benefit Payment Scheme under the Welfare Benefit Act from 9.30am to 7.30pm on Friday (12).
