Business tycoon Dhammika Perera was sworn in as a Member of Parliament a short while ago.
The Supreme Court yesterday rejected granting leave to proceed with the five FR petitions challenging the appointment of Mr. Perera as an MP.
He will be filling the vacant MP post created following former Minister Basil Rajapaksa’s resignation.
