Dilmah has been recognised by Transparency International Sri Lanka (TISL) for transparency in corporate reporting.
TISL launched its report on Transparency in Corporate Reporting (TRAC) to assess the Top 100 Public Limited Companies listed on the Colombo Stock Exchange, based on their transparency in disclosing information, Dilmah said in a media release.
Zero being the least transparent and 10 being the most transparent, the average score would generally be around 5.42 but Dilmah Ceylon Tea ranked at a high 9.82. At the recently held TISL Awards, Dilmah was amongst the top three companies that were felicitated as Sri Lanka’s most transparent. “Transparency is a key deterrent to corruption and the very fibre of Dilmah’s broader and core commitment to integrity,” the company said.
