The distribution of poll cards for the Presidential elections will take place on September 8, Commissioner General of Election Saman Sri Ratnayake announced today.
He said that distribution of poll cards is expected to be completed by September 14. However, if poll cards are not received they could be obtained from the area post office.
Customs have detected 228 mobile phones and tabs valued at over Rs 30 million left behind in the duty free shopping complex at the Banaranaike International Airport today, Customs officials said.
