A doctor and a family health officer in the Chilaw area have been transferred for vaccinating a 12-year-old girl who is a daughter of a doctor, officials said.
The transfer was given on a directive of Puttalam Regional Health Service Director Dr Dinusha Fernando.
The vaccination had been given at the Kokkavila Primary school in Chilaw.
The vaccination had been given without the approval of the Health Ministry.
