Don’t be deceived by false weather information, Met Dept.
The Meteorology Department warned the public to only pay heed to only weather forecasts and advisories issued by Meteorology Department.
The Department requested the public to not to be deceived by the false information on weather forecasts which are circulating in social and electronic media platforms.
They Department said it monitors is weather condition around the island around the clock and therefore people could obtained updated weather information as well as official notifications on weather situations by logging on to Meteorology Department website https://meteo.gov.lk and face book page http://www.facebook.com/SLMetDept
