Police have launched a search operation for drugs in schools in Batticaloa today.
The Narcotics Bureau of Batticaloa Police started a search operation at St. Michael’s Boys School Batticaloa this morning, to check whether any drugs are hidden inside the school bags or in their personnel by students or any other drug traffickers.
More than ten male and female police officers, with the help of sniffer dogs, have been used for the search operation.
