Duminda Silva arrested

News

Duminda Silva has been arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department short while ago. 

The former MP was arrested after a CID team visited Duminda Silva at Sri Jayawardenapura Hospital where he was admitted for treatment. 

The Supreme Court issued an interim order yesterday suspending the presidential pardon granted to him and impounding his passport.
