An earthquake of magnitude 4.65 in the Richter scale recorded in seas off Batticaloa in the north-eastern coast today morning has no impact on Sri Lanka, the Geological Survey and Mines Bureau said.
The earthquake was recorded at 1.30 am about 310 kms off Batticaloa.
The Bureau said there is no tsunami threat to Sri Lanka due to the earthquake.
