A Writ Application filed in the Court of Appeal seeking the cancellation of the Gazette notification of the maximum retail price of eggs will be taken up for hearing on December 14.
The petition was taken up before a bench comprising Prasanna de Silva and Kehma Swranadhipathi today.
Additional Solicitor General Sumathi Dharmawardena told courts that the Consumer Affairs Authority will be informed to reconsider the gazette notification.
