The public will be able to visit the national parks and botanical gardens free of charge on February 4, 2023 coinciding with the 75 anniversary of independence, the Cabinet has decided.
The charges at film halls will be reduced by 50 per cent on that day.
The proposal submitted by President Ranil Wickremesinghe was approved by the Cabinet.
