Western, Sabaragamuwa provinces and Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Galle and Matara districts will continue to experience fairly heavy showers after noon, the Meteorology Department said.
Meanwhile, Eastern and Uva provinces as well as Matale and Polonnaruwa districts are forecasted to have occasional showers.
Misty morning conditions will continue in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central hills and Uva provinces as well.
Wanduramba, Galle received the highest rainfall of 122mm during the past 24 hours. Minor flood situation was reported in areas near Kalu ganga with roads being inundated.
