The Government has provided a facility for over 60 and persons with serious illnesses in the Western Province (WP) to register for the COVID-19 vaccine by calling 1906 in the event they have not received the first dose of the vaccine.
The vaccine will be administered from August 10 and 12.
Meanwhile the police are continuing its operations to visit houses and check if persons have received the vaccine and direct them to the vaccine centres. However, the programme has been limited only to certain areas.
