Multiple places in most provinces will see showers or thundershowers today (8) after 1:00 pm, according to the Department of Meteorology.
Fairly heavy rainfall over 75mm is due at certain locations in Central, Sabaragamuwa, Western and Uva Provinces along with Galle and Kurunegala Districts.
Morning showers are possible in Eastern Province.
Sabaragamuwa, Central and Uva Provinces will have misty mornings.
