Farmers get free fuel from China

News

Farmers in Eppawala and Kattiyawa today queued up to obtain free diesel provided from China for farmers cultivating the Maha season

The farmers were entitled to 15 liters of diesel per hectare (for 2 1/2 acres). A coupon was issued under the supervision of the Agricultural Research Officer of the Department of Services.

.Farmers said they were grateful for providing such assistance when the farmer were helpless.
