Father Cyril Gamini was summoned to the Criminal Investigation Department today (28) to record a statement as per the complaint filed against him by the Director of State Intelligence Service.
He has requested one week’s time to provide the statement by three catholic priests who appeared before CID today.
One among the three fathers, Fr. Shanthi Kumar Welivita said that they handed over a letter from Father Cyril Gamini to the CID seeking a week’s time to provide the statement.
The Director of State Intelligence on Monday (25) filed a complaint at the CID regarding the allegations made by Father Cyril Gamini and several other individuals during an online forum held on October 23 with regard to the Easter Sunday attacks.
