A 38-year-old man and his children, aged 15 and 11 have drowned while bathing in the Ellawala Waterfall in Wellawaya, police said.
The deceased father, son and daughter from Kattankudy have arrived in Wellawaya on a family trip.
Customs have detected 228 mobile phones and tabs valued at over Rs 30 million left behind in the duty free shopping complex at the Banaranaike International Airport today, Customs officials said.
