The female driver who was arrested over the death of a 52-year-old man in Piliyandala was released on a personal bail of Rs.500,000 by Kesbewa Magistrate yesterday (29) evening.
CCTV footage showed the man being crushed to death when the speeding jeep lost control and hit the pavement in Piliyandala-Bokundara area.
The driver, a woman in her fifties and a resident of Nugegoda was arrested by Kesbewa police yesterday.
