A sudden fire erupted at a Coir factory, causing around Rs. 5 million worth of losses to the factory in Puttalam.
This fire, which occurred at a coir factory located in Maduragama, Puttalam, and was suspected to have occurred due to a fire spark.
The Puttalam Police stated that tonnes of dried coconut husks and machinery had been destroyed in the fire.
