The Defence Ministry has informed of dates for the renewal of firearm licence for the year 2022, the Ministry said.
Accordingly, individuals/ institutes in possession of firearms should renew their firearm licence for the upcoming year (2022) from 01st December 2021 to 28th February 2022.
Firearm licences will not be renewed after the end of the deadline (Feb 28, 2022). According to Act 22 of the Firearms Ordinance, the possession of firearms without a valid licence is a punishable act by law.
