Five people have died and 12 others are reported missing in Minipe, Hasalaka, due to a landslide today afternoon, Kandy District, District Secretary Indika Udawatta said.
The Colombo–Kandy main road at Pahala Kadugannawa has been closed indefinitely after a deadly rockfall in the area that left six people dead and four others injured.
