A Sri Lankan Airlines flight scheduled to take a group of 60 young job seekers to Incheon, South Korea last night was delayed causing them to possibly lose their jobs.
The UL-470 flight scheduled to depart at 8.50 p.m. on Tuesday was disrupted due to technical issues. All the 181 passengers including the group of 61 job seekers were directed to hotels nearby.
The group had to be present at Incheon on time in order to secure their jobs. Last month, a similar incident took place with a Sri Lankan flight delayed.
The flight was scheduled to leave in the morning today.
